Which racking system is right for my warehouse?

It depends on SKU count, pallet throughput and access needs. Selective pallet racking gives 100% direct access for high-SKU operations; drive-in racking maximises density for large quantities of the same SKU; double deep racking balances density and selectivity; cantilever racking suits long or irregular loads such as pipes, timber and steel.

What information do you need to design a racking layout?

A warehouse floor plan with column positions, clear height under beams or sprinklers, pallet dimensions and weight, forklift or reach-truck model and lift height, floor slab specification, and expected pallet positions or throughput.

Can existing racking be relocated to a new warehouse?

Yes. Our relocation service covers inspection, dismantling, component tagging, transport, re-installation to a new layout and replacement of damaged uprights, beams or accessories, followed by load signage and handover.

How often should warehouse racking be inspected?

Industry practice recommends routine visual checks by trained staff and a documented expert inspection at least every 12 months, with immediate action on any upright or beam damage caused by forklift impact.
